Alta Madrone is an Affordable Housing Apartment complex developed with SAHA and Pyatok Architects. Plant material was chosen for habitat sustaining, pollinator enhancing, native and drought tolerant qualities. Site amenities included a community garden of raised stock tanks on granitecrete with tool shed, A Play Area and Play house, picnic area, and lawn. This project received the 2022 Golden Nugget award for Best Affordable Housing Community under 30 Acres’.
Valley Oak Homes | Sonoma
Valley Oak Homes Affordable Housing was developed in coordination with SAHA and McCammant-Durrett Architects. A community Garden and edible landscaping, habitat sustaining, pollinator and native plantings, picnic and play areas, permeable concrete, interlocks and asphalt, and LED lighting made this project LEED compliant.
